Great Display of Amber Lotus Cards

Ginger McCleskey ( San Francisco Bay Area Greeting Card Sales Rep) and Leslie Gignilliat-Day (Amber Lotus Publishing) took these pictures of the great display of my new card line at the National Stationery Show in New York City called "Bright Spots."

I love the how the black background brings out the multiple colors on the cards.

Leslie Gignilliat-Day and Lawson Day (Amber Lotus Publishing owners)
Their mission is to bring an illuminating spirit into the world. They donate 1% of their net proceeds to a variety of organizations, from American Forests, to Feed the Children, to the Tibetan Children's Village which oversees the needs of children in Dharamsala, India, home to the Dalai Lama and center of Tibetan culture in exile.

Leslie Gignilliat-Day (Amber Lotus owner) has a special skill of color combining. She was able to select specific colors from a variety of my art styles and combine them in a new way that was unique and vibrant.

I worked with Ginger McCleskey for over a decade when I had my own manufacturing business. She was not only one of my top selling sales reps, but she teaches greeting card business classes and volunteers in our Berkeley art licensing group. You can see a video interview I did with her about card trends in the greeting card industry and mistakes card designers make.
(She does not work for Amber Lotus, but just stopped by to say "Hello.")

Besides running her own business, Ginger McCleskey is very active in the swing dance community in the Bay Area. She can spontaneously break into a dance routine on trade show floors.

Kate - what you said about my ability to "spontaneously break into a dance routine on trade show floors" is... well, let's just say that "can" and "will" are two very different things!!
(but if the music is right, I might!)
