Mail Art: Make a poem from a paint swatch?

How fun it was recently to trade "mail art" with another artist. Mail Art is a process where strangers (or friends) mail each other their handmade art.

Here was her interesting mail art request: Make a poem out of a paint swatch. She sent me a swatch called "Polka Pink" and I mailed it back to her with a spontaneous poem I made up.

A Greeting Card as a Movie Prop?

Dianne Woods, one of our Art Licensing Group members in Berkeley had a phone call one day from Warner Brothers because they wanted to use her card in the sitcom "Mike and Molly." Here is a photo of the clip. How cool is that? Here is the card, and here is the clip. This card can be found in most Trader Joe's stores.
