WHAT IS THE LICENSING DIRECTORY?
A list of submission guidelines from companies who buy art to place on products such as wall art, rugs, napkins, magnets, aprons, wrapping paper, gift bags, mugs, fabric, plates, gift items, etc... you name it! Normally, they license art and pay the artist royalties.

good luck with this kate - i think its a good idea. From what i'm picking up, agents are so inundated with submissions, a lot of times they don't even send a reply out of courtesy, so it seems the only way forward is to try and represent yourself.
Even direct to manufacturer, i read on a blog - i think it was here - Leaning Tree has over 760 artists they use - that would be 760 artists they've vetted already. Seriously with 700 plus, artists approved, no one needs need further choice.
