How Does Your Pet Disrupt Your Business?

It's time to do taxes, and I decided to take over the kitchen table and sort all my receipts and documents, thinking this would be a responsible way to keep it all in order.

Well, I woke up to find my cat "Spot" bathing in my taxes, with papers and folders spilled onto the floor. "Oh what joy" he says.

I do! I was setting up a "photo shoot" of one of my prints and Mali my cat jumped onto the desk to play with the camera cap. Right in the picture always.

My cat also sits on my laptop and somehow logged me out of the computer. I have to remember to shut it each time I leave the room. If only I could get him to learn Photoshop.

Awww~look at those 'innocent' eyes...haha~~I do have a very cute kitten that wants me to play with her all the time, and when I finally cat-proof my working desk, she would just chase her tail behind my iMac, step on my Wacom, step on my keyboard, play with my pens and pencils...anything that hinders my progress!!! But she's just too cute that I finally would end up playing with her :p Here's a few pictures of my kitty posted on my blog!

I can so relate! My cat always jumps up on my desk - and of course, has to sit right where I'm working! Always enjoy your posts Kate. Thanks.

Woa do I ever identify with that! My cats are all over my work! They drink my paint water. They walk or sit on my wet pallet. One of them even took off with my paintbrush in his mouth one time. They wad up my papers and eat bits, while I am watching just for attention. I am sure I would be MUCH more prolific, if I didn't have my helpers! But, what fun would that be?

I love the cat stories!

Peggy-I can see how your REALLY CUTE kitten could stop the work day.

Betsy -- If you are able to get a snapshot of your cat carrying a paintbrush in his mouth, I would love to post it on this blog! (with your website link of course!)

I love the cat stories too!!! They're so interesting and sound so familiar at the same time!!! I feel like we could form a cat-owner-artist group! :D
